How many sessions do I need to achieve permanency?
On average, it takes 6 to 8 treatments to achieve permanent hair reduction. However, after 3 treatments, you should start noticing an improvement in hair thickness and regrowth rate.
What do I need to do to prepare for a laser hair removal appointment?
For laser hair removal, pre-treatment prep is easy. You must shave the area the day of, arrive without self-tan, lotions or deodorant, and wear loose-fitting clothes! It is best to avoid sun exposure on the areas being treated 10 days prior to session.
How far apart are the sessions?
Sessions will be spaced every 4-6 weeks or 6-8 weeks depending on the body parts being treated.
Will laser hair removal help with ingrown hair?
Laser hair removal destroys hair follicles at the source, preventing hair from becoming ingrown. It is a good solution, especially for those with coarse or curly hair.
Will all my hair be gone forever?
The average loss of hair at the end of consecutive sessions, following the interval periods recommended is about 70-95%. It is important to have annual follow up appointments (1-2) to maintain results over the years.
Does laser hair removal work on all hair colours?
Unfortunately the laser is unable to target white, grey, blond, peach fuzz, and some shades of red hair.
How long do I have to wait after a sugaring/ waxing session before I can start laser?
6 weeks is the minimum recommended time so that the follicle has time to regrow.
